GAT Food Essentials and Lipid Nutrition partner to offer new functional food ingredient solutions

Lipid Nutrition and GAT Food Essentials announced that they have entered into a partnership, making Lipid Nutritions’ branded ingredients Clarinol^™ and PinnoThin^™ available in GAT Food Essentials’ wowCAPS^® technology format.

Gat Food Essentials has extended its already comprehensive product list by adding Lipid Nutrition’s exciting weight management ingredients ClarinolTM and PinnoThin^TM. Clarinol^™ concentrated CLA has been shown to improve body composition by reducing body fat and increase lean muscle mass in the specific areas of the body where fat loss is most desired.
PinnoThin™, a nutritional oil derived from pine nuts, has been shown to suppress the desire to eat by promoting a feeling of satiety (fullness) and helping to reduce the excessive consumption of calories.
The new addition to GAT’s product portfolio allows the company to offer their customers new solutions in the increasingly important weight management segment. The potential application range includes dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheese, beverages and smoothies, baked goods like bread, biscuits and cookies as well as meats.
